Here is your chance to experience the new Knox church buildings after almost total destruction in the 2011 Christchurch earthquakes.
The performances will be on the recently rebuilt Edgar Jenkins 3 manual pipe organ.
Illustrated talk about the impact of the earthquakes on the organ scene in Canterbury.
Take the opportunity to explore the local café scene.
We hop on historical transport and travel to the Drury Theatre Organ Charitable Trust in Halswell. Here there will be an opportunity to hear Barry Brinson play two organs, one of which is a newly-restored Wurlitzer. Other interesting displays of vehicles and machinery are also available and we will have afternoon tea before visiting delightful churches with interesting organs in Lincoln and Prebbleton.

This will be an opportunity to hear the recently installed 4-manual Rodgers Infinity Platinum hybrid organ in a building with fine acoustics.
On Sunday morning you are free to explore Christchurch. You may wish to take a trip on the tram around the gradually re-developing CBD or you may wish to attend Mass at St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral (10.30 a.m.) where Haydn’s ‘Great Organ Mass’ will be presented or Sung Eucharist at the Transitional Cathedral (10.00 a.m.) – your choice.

This public recital will be on the 4 manual Rodgers organ in the Transitional Cathedral, Hereford St.
Rydges Latimer , 30 Latimer Square.
This is just a short stroll from the Cathedral. We do hope that guests and partners will join us for this occasion. David Round, an entertaining raconteur, is the dinner speaker.
Today’s events are all held at St Michael and All Angels, Oxford Tce. – either in the school hall or the church.

Here we listen to the finalists for the NZOA Performance Awards for young organists. They will be playing on the recently repaired, restored and improved Bevington organ.
